Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been here, so a quick update (that I’m still having a hard time typing).

Bugsy passed away in Feb, at 7 years of age. I miss her dearly. Enough about that for now anyway.

I have just adopted a 4 month old rex. Mini I believe. I think female but too sqirmy to really know for sure & it’s very hard to tell at this age. She seems quite healthy, good appetite, friendly, liked the dog right away.. Will be going for a check up soon. White with light brown eye patches, ears & 2 spots on here back.

So, it,s been a long time since Bug was a baby & I don’t remember what age I’m suppose to switch from the baby food (alfapha pellets & hay)  to the adult timothy stuff. I do remember graduall etc. Is it six months?

Also I think its neuter as soon as everythig has dropped & visable – spay at six months. Is this correct?

Oh & Waves to all old friends & shakes hands of the new people!!!!! (couldn’y find the smilys)

I’m sorry to hear about Bugsy.

Spay for female is recommended at six months; Males can be done as soon as their manhood drops.

The alfalfa to timothy switch can be as late as one year but it can be as soon as 6 months I believe. I switched my boy at 9-10 months because he’s a good hay eater, he’s not having weight issues, and it’s when the bag ran out

Welcome back in the saddle of baby-bunny hood!

I’m doing Ok, much better after getting the new bun. Bug passing was/is very hard on me. she had been sleeping with me & the dog & the cat for the past 2 years. She is irreplaceable but the new one is very sweet & helping a lot. I forgot how sharp babies nails are. lol
                How are you & yours?

Oh that is a special little group you had napping on the bed. Having a new one around to concentrate on would certainly help. You have a couple others too right?

Mine are good… Ive had a busy time this year with some foster and vet visits for my Jelly (1yr old male bun) who has a jaw abscess. But otherwise we’re all good thank you!
