We finally got to the vet, after having to cancel three times due to snowstorms. She put him on Baytril for 10 days because he’s recently developed a runny nose, even though switching hay has really helped with the sneezing. He also had scabs on his ears, so they swabbed for mites, but he’s clear. He just had a bit of earwax building up, so she cleaned it out for him. She thought that his peeing-all-over-my-floor problem is behavioral instead of related to a urinary infection… so, we’ll see what happens. I’m keeping them in a smaller space with litterboxes conveniently located every few feet. The vet also confirmed that Logan is very most likely neutered (he didn’t have testicles when he was found as a stray), so that’s good. One thing that she found was a scratch on the lens of one of his eyes, but she said that his sight will be just fine. Otherwise, everything looks good. I just have to wait for a few days to see if the antibiotics are clearing the infection up. I hope he gets better, because I feel like I’ve used up all of my energy worrying about him and cleaning up after him!
