Hi! I noticed today that sometimes if I get up close to my bunny and pet her or feed her a treat, I can hear a little squeak coming from her. Sounds like a little tweet. You could only hear it if you go up close though. So I was just wondering what does this mean?

My Olly does it, I asked a vet because he did it to him, the vet said he was just pleased to see him, so it could be that, Olly does make a sound when he’s excited.

I don’t think it is anything to worry about, cats purr when we stroke them, some animals do make a noise and we can’t hear it.

My girl makes a little high pinched coo when she is happy, usually when she get her salad and for cuddles she also grunts when she is being demanding about wanting something, specifically picked up and cuddled as soon as i get up in the morning

Bam sometimes makes a little tweet-like sound when he eats sth extra yummy, like a slice of peach (his favorite). I interpret it as a very happy sound.

Buffy squeaks when she cuddles right up next to my face in bed. Ted used to do the same thing. I think it’s a sign of happiness and feeling comfy.
