My rabbit used to be littler trained and is now TERRIBLE at ie.  We did not move or anything either.  The thing is the little box is in the bathroom and he still goes into the bathroom he just doesn’t use the box.  He just goes all over the bathroom floor.  Any advice?  I have tried to google it and all that and nothing I am doing is helping at all.

How old is he? Is he neutered?

This is what’s happening with my male bunny right now – he was 95% litter trained and is now putting half of his poop and some of his pee all around the outside of his letter box.
Mine is because he is un-neutered and is now marking his territory. As he just hit 3 months old we aren’t worried as he will be getting fixed soon and his hormones will settle down soon and we will re-train him then.

Now if yours is older and neutered it could be something else going on. Can you answer DanaNM’s question above so that we can help you try and figure this out?

He is almost 2 AND neutured.  So I have no idea what is going on.  He also went to the vet a week ago and got a clean bill of health.

Is he only having accidents in the bathroom?

If that’s the case, he might just be viewing the whole bathroom as his litter box. How big of an area does he run around in, and how many litter boxes?

A couple things are usually helpful:
                – rule out a medical problem (Wick’s box habits get bad when he needs a molar trim, and other problems can also cause buns to lose their habits)
                – get a bigger litter box. Some rabbits out grow theirs, and don’t like to hop in anymore. Sometimes they will jump in the box, but then stick their bum over the side because they like to back into the corner. So taller sides help.
                – fill the box with really fluffy nice bedding, and lots of fresh hay. Only offer hay IN the litter box (Or from a rack next to it)
                – restrict space and see if his habits get better. if he gets a huge area to run in, then going all the way to the box might become a chore.
                – add an additional box, especially if he is in a big area.
                – make sure the box is clean, but not too clean!
