  Hi everyone, after researching different litters for my bun I ran into this video comparing Yesterday’s News and pine pellets. The quality isn’t particularly exciting or professional (it sounds like a science project), but I thought it was super interesting since I tried YN recently and did not like it at all.   That was really interesting! I have to admit, I fast forwarded it a lot because once you get the idea, it’s easy to see that most of the video is confirmation of the first couple of minutes. Very informative.
  
  What I really want to see now is a demo comparing Aspen litter pellets with Pine pellets. I have believed that the Aspen is more absorbant – certainly stops odor. But no idea how it compares to pine. I expect it’s very similar.
  
  Just a reminder: never use pine shavings, as they give off a chemical that causes gradual respiratory illness in bunnies. Pellets are fine, however. Untreated wood stove pellets are sold in various stores, and pet and grocery stores sell Feline Pine Pellets which are very cheap and made for cats but fine for bunnies.
  I get Aspen pellets in pet stores. (Aspen shavings are safe, too.)
