My husband got a new job at Lynden up by the Canadian Washington border which is four hours away from where we live now. We have always wanted to move out into the country. My husband was the building official for the city of Woodland for ten years and when there was a turnover in the new mayor and public works director, because my husband would not become a “yes man” and do things against his ethics and be corrupt and dishonest, they terminated his position and even tried to gyp him out of 4 months severance pay that his contract of hire said he had coming because of a spotless work record. It was all a great plan of God. They meant it for evil, but, God meant it for good. He got a higher paying new job in an area that our other prayer of living in the country was also answered!! I can have room for more critters and get my nanny goat and definitely a friend for Hunny Bunny. Our son and daughter in law will rent this home here that we own to make the monthly house payments until it is sold. Everything has fallen into place so nicely. Life is NOT fair, but, God is greater. When negative stinky things come our way, it is wonderful how things can be turned around and how we can be highly rewarded for our faith and I am not speaking about the “name it and claim it or the blab it and grab it” either!! It is in an area called Peaceful Valley that is a summer home estates for retirement etc. We bought a repo and we got the bank down to agreeing to $112,000 and the closing date is November 23rd. I am going to have fun fixing it up. It has a box window in the kitchen and I always wanted one. It has vaulted ceilings and skylights. There is a wetbar in a cupboard that I am going to turn into a personal indoor bunny hutch for Hunny and she will have her own personal little sink for her bummie washes!! Otherwise, we don’t need a wetbar. It has an extra room built on so it can be a 3 bedroom and a room built out in the 2 car garage that I can turn into my work out room with my stairstepper etc. We are so deep in the thick of the forest that we cannot even see the neigbors who live in the back of us because of all the trees. It has two sheds and one of them is kind of broken down but perfect for us to fix up at the chicken coop or goat pen.
