Limping rabbit front leg

My 4 year old boy shadow has started limping over night normally in the morning her willl run up to me but this morning he was just sat there so I picked him up and brought him inside and he started limping about but he was still running like a happy little monster he was putting his leg down sometimes when he ran but I checked him over and I wouldn’t feel anything but he doesn’t like to sit still much the only thing I could see that could help determine what it could be was this leg was a little turned in but might just be where he is holding it up he was cleaning himself fine and he managed to jump up on his little bench this morning because when I found him he was up there and didn’t really wanna jump down ? My parents are a bit weird about taking my pets to vet and as well cookie my degu had to go a couple days ago for an eye infection so they are being very annoying about it. What could it be

I think it might Be a break or sprain. Many rabbits will do well with small area rest and pain meds but you should always check with the vet first. My parents aren’t always happy when I ask if we should check with the vet either so I get how you feel. See if there might be an onlone vet that you can talk to that has experience with rabbits to get a better idea of what it MIGHT be. Rabbits are also amazing at hiding pain. After Lily broke her back leg she still ate like normal and acted normal but it was obvious she had broken her leg.

If he puts weight on it it sounds more like a sprain than a break. It would take x-rats to confirm though. Rabbits are good at hiding pain. Is his appetite good?
