        Hello

I see small mineral and salt licks for sale in pet stores they say for small animals, rabbit, g pigs, etc. Does our bunnies NEED these? Mine does not have them but I will pick some up if they are helpful?

Also, Where can I buy Critical Care? Hope I never need it but rather have on hand in case I do.

        Thanks much,

Tracy and Mr. Bun Bun who is now eating HAY!!! after several types and brands. Sometimes I hide a couple raisins in it and he likes it now!

The mineral licks aren’t needed if you have a good diet for bun a decent pellet brand ( oxbow or burgess – there are others ) as well as greens give bun all the minerals needed
The salt lick I have been told isn’t nessesary if your bunny has that good diet – however I was also told they won’t lick it if they don’t need it ( apparently they are good at knowing what they are lacking in the way of salt )
I have one in my boys cage as he has stomach issues that mean he cannot have greens
So in short – a salt lick won’t hurt to have available
          Mineral wheels aren’t nessasary

Also Amazon sell critical care ( I just checked) not sure if it’s a good price compared to other sellers in your area ( I can’t get it where I am )

Mineral and salt licks are not needed for rabbits. Do you have a good rabbit savvy vet for your bunnies? Most vets that see a lot of rabbits will have Critical Care in stock for you to buy.

I get my Critical Care either from my vet or Binky Bunny store.
