        Hi all,

So for some reason Captain has started to lick my blankets like crazy? He started doing this a few days ago. It first happened when he was laying down on my bed and I was petting him then he just got up and started to lick my blankets… I know that when a rabbit licks you it means he loves you but sadly Captain has never licked me before  so what does this mean? Is it because he’s lonely and maybe thinks my blankets are fur of another bunny? I took a video of him doing it : https://gyazo.com/f7c35cfc7c10a5b8ee5f1c20ffd8861e

I can’t see your vid because my computer is old and horrible.

Some bunnies are just blanket lickers. Like some give kisses and some don’t. I’ve had bunnies that crazy licked blankets or stuffed animals but never me! Now I have a non-blanket licker but she will lick her stuffed bunny and super crazy kisses me.

Have you ever tried giving him a stuffy? Make sure it’s a baby or dog safe stuffy with embroidered eyes and nothing easily chewed off. And always closely monitor for chewing. My Elara loves her Ikea Bunny Stuffy.
