  When I first got my rabbit I noticed that he had kind of matted fur (this was about 4 months ago) it was in his chest and left leg. I brushed out his chest area with a comb and a tiny bit of water and it went back to being normal. But I never brushed out his leg area cause he hates his legs touched and I didn’t want to hurt him. Today I noticed that his leg is matted but it kind of looks bald. It does not have skin flakes so it’s not mites but I worried it might be something serious. He’s been with it for 4 months and he grooms it but doesn’t really notice it very much. I’m taking him to the vet to get neutered soon so I’m going to ask him what he thinks it is.

  Sounds like sore hocks. Definitely talk to the vet about it.
