I have an email into my vet but we have been hit with ice and I don’t think the office is open.  I will try calling in a few minutes.

We give my rabbit fluids via subQ for chronic kidney disease and bladder sludge.  We gave him fluids last night.  I usually watch him afterwards.  I didn’t notice anything unusual.  This a.m. he has a large flap of skin on/right above one of his front legs.  He is hopping and eating like normal.

It kinda looks like a dewlap under the chin, but a bit larger and on his leg.

        Any ideas?

It could be the fluid – sometimes it takes awhile to absorb.

I agree with Sarita. I wouldn’t worry at all in this case.

If it doesn’t feel like it’s going down though go ahead and call the vet. But it should eventually dissipate.
