Does your bunny sometimes act posessed?

Do you have stories of frustration and aggravation, or just suspect that after something goes wrong you hear snickering from that sweet little fuzzball?

Do you find yourself saying “Do that one more time and you’re mittens!” to an adorable, loveable, darling creature?

Share. Go ahead. Get it off your chest. You’ll feel better.

Oh yes, I threaten Felony often.

“Stop it! That’s it you are going to the shelter! I’m putting you up for adoption! I’m setting you outside into the wild! I’m taking you to the lucky rabbit’s foot factory!”

And then immediately after that, I’m nuzzled up with him on the couch.

My favorite threats are “chicken-fried bunny”, “back to the park with you!”, and, my latest to Robbie when he was mean to Lizzy and I thought Little was a boy–“I’m going to take you back where I found you (park in the mud with the skunks in the ghetto!), and have a MATCHED SET!”

I got mauled by my rabbit this week. I have a 2 inch scar on my face to prove it. Serves me right for catching her mid air. And she’s a jealous demon! All aggressive behaviours come out if i’m giving Rumball attention unless I’m simutaneously giving it to her to.
As to Rumball…there’s something lurking in that boy! I’ve seen glimpses. He seems so roly poly cute and sweet but there’s something… The other day Jersey requested a groom from him for the first time & he thumped at her. He might be a taker and not a giver. We’ll see…

                    You people scare me… 0_o

No seriously…I have no idea how any of you could even think of speaking to our lovable, darling little…..

                    …wait a sec….

(thinking of how Fiver has been boxing me lately and trying to take snaps at my hand during his latest molt)

Nevermind…go back to what you were doing. I’m just going to be knitting a rex fur toque over here. >.<

Ever heard of The PPP? The Purposeful Peeing Poltergeist. You never know when it’s going to strike……….well, that’s not true…usually it strikes in my presence. It gets Peeved for some ungodly reason and leaves a little Puddle as a calling card to let you know it is Peeved.

I was visited by it again tonight. I was setting up a bonding pen in a cold, dark corner. I was near finished and was inside the pen pegging up some fabric to cover the side. Suddenly, the pen walls started rattling and moving, then just as suddenly stopped. I completed the job then stepped over the pen. Strange?! My sock feels wet! There was the puddle with my foot in the middle of it. The PPP had struck again!!

I like this thread, can you tell? But Pam, you’ve yet to post of Sammy. Has she been a little witch lately?

                            LOL Jersey!!!

I was just going to write “Wow, you guys really like this post!”
Sounds like the bonding is challenging this week. Remind me to reread this if I get a yen to bond Sammy.

I think I’m anticipating new stories since she is starting to shed a bit more and needs her nails trimmed. OK, yesterday morning (my day off) I had plans to meet my mother and couldn’t get Sammy to go into her house for breakfast by 9:45. Had to call my Mum and say I’d be late, guess why.
Herself proceeded to join me in the room, (I shut the doors) but inspected every corner and toy in the surrounding area before taste testing the treat. Took her own sweet time getting in there and I KNEW she must be hungry since she hadn’t had her main course yet.

Today – well, she went back in so early that I just had to let her out again, setting myself up for a fun morning before work.

Well I in no way want to discourage you in getting another and bonding he/she to Sammy – so I’ll tell you the bonding has actually been ok, I just have a opinionated girl on my hands. Always has been, even pre-Rumball. Oh and she’s started shedding too!

Sammy must have known it was your day off – thought you shouldn’t be rushing off! Oh so subtly told you so!

Not to worry. If I ever decide to bond her I know that you’ve set an example of how it can be done, even with little miss divas. Sammy is now dozing under her basket. Probably dreaming of a prince like Rumball.

Yes, she does seem to notice, and get stubborn, on my days off. I think I change the routine slightly. She actually went into her house one workday morning without being asked right at 8AM, but this is not the thread for good behavior. She made up for that on my next day off. LOL

OK. She just made herself worthy of this thread. (mildly though.) I shut her in the room with me, she came over to her house for a treat, put two paws on the opening, then ran away. Did it about 4 times. She wanted that treat, knew what it meant, and took her own sweet time deciding to go in. Now she’s eaten it and complaining by chewing on the bars.

This thread is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I myself have the Evil Digger!!! When her highness is not getting what she wants, she goes to her litter box and digs, she can fling litter and poo completely across the room! She will also do this if the dog is near – like she knows the dog will try to eat the poo and get told no!! I swear she is taunting the dog!! Bully Bunny!!!!!! Poor dog is going to need counseling!!!!!!!!!

Tonight was nails and anals nite.  Yep the first of the month.  I think Cotton knew it.  I did Ruby first knowing she is so calm. She was sitting and I just picked up her front feet and did her nails. Oh how sweet she is.  Then I put her on her back for the back nails and her anals got done. I put her back in her house with a nice treat.   Awe what a little angel.

                                      NEXT  DA DA DA DAAAA

COTTON.   NO Mum you cannot pick up my front feet to trim my nails. WHAAAA??? !!! I have to get on my back to stay still so they get trimmed. Ok here comes the towel wrap up time.  I place Cotton on the couch on his back.  He immediately flips over.  AFter about 5 minutesof this he is breathing hard and getting tired.  GREAT Now I can do his front feet.  Once done he flips over again…. back onto his back he goes between my legs and I petted his little cheek.  Finally got the nails done and the anals really needed it.

I give him a treat and off he goes. Under the table.  I go to pet him and talk nice.  I move my hand away and he comes out boxing and grunting.

Out comes another treat.  I try more petting get the same result. Then he runs off.  OK I pick him up  again and hold him petting and talking nice  put him down. HE sees his carrot piece eats it and is ready for pettings.  Back to normal.

PHew I am so glad this is only done  once a month. You’d think he would be used to it by now.

Then I had to do mine which is like once a week trim.
