          Gosh that’s heartrending… ;_;
          I wish I could take them all home! >_< It's not fair that I have only so many hands and so little time.

          I am dreading Easter more every year and it used to be a favorite holiday. Also I’m seriously worried every time I see commercials for that Hop movie…even though the bunny doesn’t look ‘real’…I fear this will be a worse year for rabbits than usual.
          (OT moment…Honestly I’m just getting very tired of Pixar-style movies in general. It was a great venue at first, now it’s just something else to spam theaters with.)

            Is there any very sad images in this? (like injured bunnies) My heart just can’t take that right now. But I want to watch it because I need to send an e-mail to the woman who posted on kijiji yesterday “looking for a rabbit for my daughter for Easter” .

                That is a good article : )

                Mimz, I have to agree with you. Pixar is just looking for a way to make a buck. And the concequences are really bad for us rabbit parents. I’m scared to even look online at craigslist and kijiji. I’m kind of disappointed that I found out kijiji is run by Ebay!

                Remember what happened after kids watched Finding Nemo? A fellow BB’er mentioned also after watching Beverely Hills Chichuaua that the shelter near her house was flooded with over 200 dogs!

                LPT, there are no sad images. Just a sad song, and bunnies.

                  There were very nice pictures of all the bunnies, it was the text that got to me. I didn’t have my speakers up, I know better.
                  It’s very direct and to the point. I think it’s an excellent video to recommend any prospective bunny parent watch, not just those who impulse buy them this time of year.
                  I hadn’t realized that Bev Hills Chi had caused a run on dogs at the shelters. I know how I feel about Jenna, she was just one of so many there, I’m glad we were able to rescue her…but all the ones we had to leave behind…it’s just too sad.

                    I did end up e-mailing that lady from kijiji yesterday just telling her that I was a rabbit advocate concerned about the Easter Bunny castoffs and gave her some general info about rabbits as pets, spay/neuter, how they aren’t the greatest kids pets because most don’t enjoy being cuddled, etc. I had a really hard time because the site kept telling me that my message was too long so I had to keep breaking it down but it was all important. I always get really nervous checking e-mails after e-mailing such things as my last attempt to help kijiji bunnies resulted in a very rude reply by a popsicle lady (get the reference: cold, with a big stick shoved up somewhere.). I don’t want my e-mails to come off as rude or insulting.This lady e-mailed back the same day and just said: “Thank you for the info it was very helpful.” I feel like I did my part.
