Went to check on the guinea pigs and Mufasa, one of the buns, who lives under the piggy tables atm. I open the door and see Mufasa not inside his pen, but inside one of the pig cages. Spesifically the home of Healer, our Cornet, and his new wards, Loup and Garou, our 6wk old skinny pig brothers. I almost broke down in tears from panic. Mufasa is antisocial, we had a baby dutch for a small time and through the bars Muumuu managed to bite him pretty badly, and he gets very upset (like insanely upset) if he is in the same room as another rabbit. He is also apparently houdini, as we have done everything to cover his pen to keep him from getting out. So my first thought was that someone was seriously injured, or he had killed one of the babies.
Thankfully the only thing he killed was one of the veggy plants we were trying to grow. He also seemed a bit freaked out by the guinea pigs. He has a toy guinea pig that is his buddy, so we wonder if he was confused why these things were moving when his piggy friend doesn’t. XD He is fine as well, no bites or anything. Thankfully he got into that cage and not Rosie’s, Rosie is blind and attacks when frightened. Healer is pretty relaxed and the babies are still new so they are rather skiddish.
I think I am going to have to shuffle buns today though, and maybe move Muumuu upstairs or into a closed cage. Which requires cage shuffling. Thankfully two of the younger buns are big enough I think I can move them downstairs. Ahh the challenge of so many buns. Xp
