Hey!
I just had a weird experience haha! I was at a pet store, just to have a look at the animals, and I like that particular shop because they actually really care about their animals, and they have a lot of knowledge. Well, me and the lady that worked there started talking (I was asking her a question about neutering guinea pigs), and we were talking about rabbits, she told me she had four bonded rabbits at home! I told her I had an indoor neutered male and one thing led to another – she offered me a free bun, just because she sensed that I really cared and had more knowledge than most people coming in to buy animals there. She said their main priority is a good home for their animals. And I toooootally fell in love with a dwarf lop. I think it was a mix though, her (or his) face was a little longer and leaner than a lop’s. She was so sweet and her coloring was amazing. But I think her offer just applied to one of the netherland dwarf/dutch mixes they had in, although I bet I could reach an agreement for the lop. I have until tomorrow to make up my mind, and man, I’m so tempted! haha!
It’s just that I would have to get it fixed (I’m not exactly liquid atm) and then there is bonding, and I wouldn’t have any clue as to wether or not the new bun would get along with Bosse.
Theres also the fact that a friend of mine has asked me if we would take in her bun, seing that she can’t bring him with her where she is moving. He is a 3 year old un-neutered male, but she is getting him neutered. We are going to set up a bunny date between them and see if they get along, and then make up our mind.
Bah, I can’t accept the offer from the pet shop, but man am I tempted!
Just wanted to share this experience
Here’s what the mixes look like:

Couldn’t find a pic that even resembled the beautiful lop.
