We just got back from the produce store. I bought some watercress. I thought it was something else.  These people don’t always lable their stuff. They put both types of parsly on the table with cilantro and water cress. I meant to pick up cilantro, but I got watercress.

When I first started giving Holly greens, I picked spinach. However someone said to give it in moderation because of the high calcium content.

Is watercress something ok, or should I avoid it?????

        Thanks

I give Bluebell watercress sometimes… only in small quantities though. I looked up a list of foods that are safe to feed rabbits and watercress was on the list so I’m presuming it’s okay. It’s not been a problem with Bluebell, and she’s had it a few times.

oh and make sure you only introduce it gradually so you don’t upset her tummy. (though Im sure you know that already!)

Yes, as joannaruth said it is perfectly fine.
