This used to be Korra’s toy but Ashe has adopted it. I think it might smell like her because she has one that is identical (slightly different color) and Ashe prefers grooming this one
Clause (goldfish) recently lost his mate, so we put Ashe’s “seat” next to the tank and she visits frequently. They were kissing through the class but the fish darted away right when I took the picture.
Ashe, preparing to jump over the barrier keeping her from behind the dresser with my betta tank on it… she can jump anything so I have to sit with her anytime she is out and say “no”.

Bubbles- All your photos are all so interesting, is the project for a photography class? Chester’s coat and markings are spectacular!
Thanks NuggetBuns! I’m doing the project for the fun of it. I’ve always loved photography, but I usually ended up only taking pics more regularly during the summer. I’m a marine biologist and spent my last summers on whale watching boats, so I always did more marine animals photos. This project has made me push my comfort zone! It’s been so much fun
Chester is so cute! I think the different coloured ears are praticularly adorable

Found this gorgeous portrait from Ikea and was so excited because it looked so much like Nugget! Kari Herer is the artist and she has other pieces of animals with flowers.
He was staring at his cage for a really long time so I took it as an invitation to take a picture

Here’s Bindi last night. He’s such a snuggle bun. He loves blankets. When I put a blanket on him, he starts tooth purring and will usually stay there for a long time. He layed under this blanket for half an hour. My little snuggie bear.

LMAO, I was gonna say that Bindi looks so much like a fluffy stuffed rabbit and not a real animal and then I see the plush toy. I too want to hold Bindi and press my face again his beautiful fur!

Ms. Gabbster- she was labeled as a mini Rex but I think she’s a mix.
LPT- I will have to look for a pic of Olivia Ashe’s nose is kind of short lol I will be posting pics of Ashe and her eventual buddy. My boyfriend decided it would be okay to raise another baby and we will try bonding after the baby is neutered! Pictures to come!

If anyone follows Nugget’s tumblr, you’ll already know this… I just discovered Nugget likes roses! These were actually birthday roses that the bf got for me, but alas, I’m not a rose girl whatsoever
so I was happy to give them to the Nugs. At first I thought it would be cute to take some pics with the roses and then he went wild and ate them like treats 
We also got him a new plushie friend and named him Thomas. Nuggets likes to groom him and sit with him when we’re busy watching tv.
But this morning, I placed Thomas on top of Nugget and he gave me the biggest stink eye…

This is my little girl Hazel at about 3 months old! I can’t believe she is getting so big. We have recently discovered the HBO series, Game of Thrones, so we have been doing a lot of snuggling in the TV chair. My cat Capone is pretty good to Hazel, although I don’t even leave that big bugger unsupervised with her.

Hazel has gorgeous markings. I was hoping for a bunny with nice markings but we fell in love with the ears on this one.Hope she’s getting good at the litter training etc. We are doing quite well apart from one issue with the sofa (see may other angsty threads!) She’s also proving to be a bit of a minx in terms of jumping great heights to cause mischief. Only when we’re not looking of course! She’s also taken a liking to my slippers. She likes to put her apple wood twigs in them and eat them from there instead of the nice bowl I gave her.

I’m also a massive fan of Nugget, the photo with Thomas is absolutely gorgeous, I love his ears And Hazel and Tamariz are such cuties. I love this thread, thank you all for sharing your photos Buddy hates being picked up, he never lets us do it but today he went to my boyfriend for some cuddles (he’s always preferred him a bit which makes me super jealous
). We couldn’t believe it, I think it’s maybe because he’s not totally well yet…

I got off of work early yesterday after that crazy storm (aka derecho) knocked out the power at my office. Did anyone else experience it? I live in the Philadelphia area and was worried about how scared Nugget was at home alone. I get home after the storm passes and find him curled up in the book case:

@ TamarizRabbit – I originally wanted a black & white rabbit since both my dog and cat are black and white, but the minute I saw Hazel, I fell in love and said, “that’s the one I want!” I love her little white tips on her feet because it makes her look like she has a manicure (which is so her, she’s a little diva!) and also because those white tips provide me with pink nails – much easier and safer to trim for this first time bunny owner.

One of the teens I know showed rabbits in the 4-H so I went to her for help and she showed me how to restrain her and trim them. I had a guinea pig with black nails and I quicked him once and he bled like crazy and I felt so bad!
I have been lucky on litterbox training, thank goodness! She sometimes has a few poops that sneak out but very few accidents with her pee. I hope to have her fixed next month so that her habits and manners stay nice.

As for clipping her nails, you should take her to the vet or a shelter/pet store that provides nail trimming services to do the first trim and ask them for tips on how to find the quick on black nails so you’ll be able to do it yourself. I always have my bf pick Nugget up and hold him over a trash can, while I carefully trim his nails. His are clear so it’s easy to see the pink vein. Just be confident b/c your bun will sense if you’re nervous/scared and won’t trust you if you don’t know what you’re doing

Ah ha! Well done Nuggetbuns. Nigel looks exactly like Tizzy. Same grey pads and everything and sounds a similar temperament. Would be interesting to chat to his owner. Tizz also likes doing tricks but so far I’ve only managed stand, twirl, up (onto box) and walk. Would love to teach her to give paw but not sure how to go about that.
Great nail clipping tips, thanks. Wonder when I should first get it done??

As some of you may have read in my previous posts Buttons turned out to be a boy. We thought long and hard about whether to give him a more masculine name but he answers to Buttons so its easier to keep it that way! Here are a few picutres of them in their playpens, they grow up so quickly!

I finally put on my tough face today and set the kids up in the playroom. It’s been hard since my back is hurting. I haven’t been able to do much. I was getting sad because I couldn’t have the bunnies out much but today I just said screw it and set the bunnies up for play time. (My back hurts 10x worse now but it’s worth it)
Soooo I always knew Valentine was a diva but omg the look she gave me today was just priceless. I am glad I caught it on camera! =D
And then Rascal begging for groomies but Valentine refusing! LOL

Chester is so sweet I’m looking for a wife for Buddy at the moment and I saw one girl that’s just like your bun in one of the rescues here, love the colouring.
Happy Monty is a joy to watch. All your bunnies are so cute, thanks for sharing.I always have so much trouble describing Chester to my friends because of the colour. I just end up showing pictures instead

I only get a chance to look through this thread about once a week or so and there is just way too much adorable posted between those times. It’s too hard to comment on all the cute so I will just say that you should all be very proud bunny parents because all your bunnies are just gorgeous!

Here is Hazel being adorable on my lap on Monday (although she later had an accident on my horse quilt… guess I held her too long! Oh well, it’s VERY washable). I had a terrible migraine headache all day at work and sometimes when I don’t feel good, I get very sad and depressed and will get very mopey and teary. My little Hazel girl is of great comfort to me. Can’t wait to be home to see her in just 20 minutes!

SO! I took my buns outside for the first time today! The weather was so gorgeous and so I allowed them out there for about an hour and half and had a nice relaxing day! Not only that, but my husband proposed to me…AGAIN! I only had my engagement ring but he proposed to me in the back yard while I was watching the bunnies. It was nothing gooey and corny he just got down on one knee, told me to close my eyes, and slipped this pretty wedding band with my engagement ring on my finger
(I was missing my engagement ring because he took it to the jewelers to get it polished for the wedding) I am so lucky!Anyhoo, pictures from the bunnies adventure outside

Thanks everyone! I’ve been married two years but I’ve never gotten an wedding band or a wedding ceremony/reception yet lol I wish I could take my buns with me but its in Texas! So they will be staying in Delaware
I’m going to miss them lol And I’m a sucker for light brown colored bun. I think it’s a pretty color
I really need to get a video of what Sally and Harley have learned so far. Harley can do up, walk, and spin and Sally can up, spin, and jump on the dog bed when asked.

Please excuse the hardwood floors and unpacked bag! The floors are really not as dirty as they look in the pictures– I mop and sweep them at least three times a week (obsessive). It’s just a part of their “character”, I guess. A friend is visiting and hasn’t unpacked. Lambda loves jumping all around her luggage, so we may just keep it that way.

I went to the grocery store because I didn’t have enough veggies to make their nightly salad and I got home and set the bags down and Harley was immediatley all up in it! He went straight to the Kale (they haven’t had kale in so long because none of them were fresh enough for me to feel comfortable buying) He missed his kale! lol
See those 3 bags stuffed with veggies? It only costed me $13! Not only are they dirt cheap, but they had nice, dark, krispy kale!

I’m originally from Texas and when I was told we were moving to Delaware I was just like
lol the last place I ever thought. Going from BIG to tiny! It takes an hour tops to drive across the entire state of DE whereas Texas it was an 8 hour drive before finally leaving and that’s leaving from the middle of the state and hitting avg 85 MPH! Lol I can’t complain, I’m enjoying the tax free state here 
but I do miss Texas greatly and as soon as we are free to do so, I’ll be moving back ASAP. I can never see videos on this site when I’m on my iPad
no matter what browser I choose. I have to get on my laptop. -
Harley was very eager to get his breakfast this morning! Their breakfast this morning includes grapefruit mint, Collards, romaine, red leaf, kale, one slither of yellow bell pepper, 2 snow peas, and a quarter of a strawberry cut into tiny slivers. They don’t get strawberries very often but I decided to give them a nice little treat. It’s looks more than it really is but it’s not even half a strawberry to share betweent the two of them lol

Nuggetbuns & NBO- I wasn’t officially a Delawarean resident, but I did spend an awesome 4 years at UD, so I got excited when you guys mentioned it
and I definitely got some weird looks from people when I moved to Colorado a few years ago and told them I grew up in NY and had spent the previous few years in Delaware (there were a lot of “you’re far from home” comments, and at least one blank look because the person couldn’t remember where DE was in the US lol)somebun- Ollivander is such a cute name for a cute bunny! It’s been really long since I’ve been on this forum, I missed all the bunny photos! They’re my daily dose of “awwwww”!
We moved houses and are still settling in. Alvin has declared the stairs leading to the roof as “his”, and loves to sleep on them. His paws are really dirty because we neglected to mop the floor and stairs after sweeping…
They’re mopped now, but his paws are still dirty, I’m thinking of giving him a foot bath.
My room has a balcony, which I usually leave the door open to so Alvin can come or go as he pleases. A few days ago, it was raining and he reallly wanted to go outside, but he was unsure of the rain. He eventually decided to go out, but in this photo he was still trying to make up his mind.
And one day, I was sweeping and rearranging the furniture in my room and had laid the broom against the railing. I turned to move my dresser, when I heard the loud sharp noise of the broom hitting the floor(my room echos), which startled me, so I turned and saw Alvin staring at me from the stairway. He kept sitting and staring long enough for me to get my camera and take a photo of him pretending to be all innocent.

I’m glad to be back, it took awhile to get internet at the new place. Alvin isn’t quite as naughty as he used to be, he’s starting to settle down a little, he actually “asks permission” before hopping up in my lap now. He will sit up on his hind legs and put one paw on my leg, wait for me to notice him, and then hop up.
He does have his naughty/silly moments still, which I do try to capture on camera if I can. I usually put up with his antics because he’s just so cute, however, a few nights ago I did shut him out on the balcony because he kept insisting on sitting on my head while I slept, and that included pawing at my face to make himself more comfortable! He loves the new place, he has probably 5x the amount of space here than the old place since my bedroom is on the 3rd floor and the only doors are to the balcony and the one to the roof, the rest is open, but I did block off the stairs leading to the 2nd floor. He did like the rain, he was skipping around in it, but once it got heavier than a gentle sprinkle he came back in.

Yes, he’s completely cage free.
Not for too long, though. I had left his cage at my dad’s house because the new place had a kitchen cabinet I wanted to convert into a rabbit hutch. I’ve been way too busy to work on it, but once it’s done it should be nice. Alvin loves squeezing into tight spaces so I’m going to make one half of it a double level. He’ll still be free roaming the majority of the time once it’s done, but at least I’ll have a safe place to shut him up in when I need it.Future rabbit hutch waiting to be worked on:

So Bunny ownership is going really well. Tizzy is becoming very affectionate. Licking my nose has become a favourite game. Gross to some but damn cute to me. She has some weird obsessions though….She will chase me all over the house for wine! Not that she ever gets it but cute watching her try!
