  I posted this on facebook so some of you may have seen this already, but Jack has this funny sitting position when he grooms his feet — It reminds me of fat cat (as some cats sit like this to clean themselves). I am pretty sure he does this because his front paws, one especially has arthritis in it. So instead of leaning on his front feet, and bring his leg forward like he used to do, he learned to lean further back, tuck is front in, then stretch his torso forward while tucking his front feet in, so he could keep his perty white back feet clean
  
  Normally I can never get photos of it because I think he feels a bit more vulnerable in this postion as he can’t just jump up, so many times when I get my camera to take a photo, he gets a little suspicious of why I am just standing there. In the second photo, he was looking at me like…”What are you doing?”, and got out of his Silly Sit. right after I took the photo. So FINALLY I got it.

  Lolli kind of gets in that position too. I have no clue why she gets into it other than she’s lost weight so she can reach now. LOL But that’s cute!

  Heheh Moose sits like that occasionally, mostly when he decides he needs a bath when waking up from a nap and he’s being lazy

  Aw Jack’s so cute! Gracie will sit on her butt (not with her feet out like that though) because of her arthritis on her back legs.

  peepi&warri, that was a cute video (even though he was cleanin’ his bum. LOL) Jack never did this until the last six months….maybe it’s not arthritis…just age and wisdom.

  My cat, Tooey, goes into a full out lounge on her butt to reach her back feet and her belly, which is almost bare from all the licking she has done to it over years. She reminds me exactly of the fat cat sitting poses that were caught in that threefold photo of the cat rolling over backward …it reminds me of the Kliban cat…who did that?

  lmao…Yes, I know Kliban does Kliban cat, but this cat is pictured in a live photo (a set of three) and the cat is so fat it’s slowly falling over backward as the photos progress from left to right. It just reminds me of the Kliban cat, but is not Kliban….I don’t think… Erm… 0_o

  Of course, I have to hope the cat was photoshopped…I’d consider it animal cruelty to allow a cat to actually get THIS huge. >.<
  
  On a side note, Jack always reminds me of the Cadbury bunny, so when the commercials for the ‘bunny auditions’ began again this year, I kept thinking of Jack going ‘bawkbawkbawk’… BB, think you can get him to sit on an egg like that and cluck? lol…

  Adorable!! I know what you mean about them getting out of those cute poses as soon as you grab the camera in fact, if I’m not mistaken, I can almost see that in his expression “ooohh the flashy box…busted…this is going on the internet isn’t it?” XD
