  I have been reading the forums every chance I can get at work. You guys have soo many creative fun ideas for bunnies! My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I came home and started cutting up egg cartons and paper bags to make toys for Sucre. After we move into our new place I want to buy Sucre one of those cardboard mazes, they look like fun!
  
  Just wanted to let you all know that I’m enjoying catching up on all I’ve missed in the house bunny world!
  
  My camera is currently lost in moving boxes but I took a picture of sucre playing with one of his new homemade toys with my phone. Its poor quality but he’s still adorable! He was throwing it all over trying to figure out how to get out the goodies!

  I completely forgot about the paper egg cartons for toys. I have to get some for Sammy.
  Your husband may as well get used to living with a bunny slave now. It’s a lifetime lifestyle.

  yes, Sucre is wearing a collar. We got him one of those quick release collars that cats wear so he cant get hung up.

  rabbits should never wear collars, their bones are too fragile so if he got caught on anything he could easily break his neck. it has happened many times before.

  I didn’t even notice he had a collar on. Can I ask why you got a collar? Both harnesses and collars can pose a risk. Even the break away types… Rabbits are so fragile, it’s very possible that he could badly injure himself before the collar ever got to the ‘breaking point’. With rabbits, they are really not necessary or recommended.

  When a friend and I were out buying Sucre’s first supplies (ie: toys, litter box, waterer etc) we thought it’d be cute to put a collar on him. We got the break away kind thinking it would be okay. Thanks for the advice though, collar is now OFF and in the trash.

  Oh good! I get very worried with stuff like that. And besides, I think he’s cute as all what WITHOUT any additional accessories!!!
