my thought would be to continue to groom them and it may help the dry skin off. if it gets red or really bad looking, you might want to ring up your vet.

hmm. was any sign of flakes? which is often a sign of mites and can be treated safely with Revolution (never Frontline)

They were both treated with invectrin in the fall. I haven’t seen any flakes. Anoth site told me to use Bag Balm,Flaxseed’s,Black oil sunflowerseed’s. Not all at the same time. LOL

Bag Balm can be quite irritating and I would avoid the sunflower seed oil and possibly the flax seed oil too as they are high in fat and could plump up a bunny to unhealthy proportions (check with your vet). I would also talk to a vet to make sure they are not mites, keep brushing with a soft brush to distribute the natural oils and as an absolute last resort, use an ultra sensitive aloe shampoo and bathe the rabbit (NOTE: Rabbits should not have baths, except in extreme cases.). I would also consider purchasing a humidifier if that seems to be the problem. I do not know about WV, but there in CO it is very arid and dry skin is a constant battle.
