  yep, it snowed this morning. Just on Sunday I had put my kiddy pool out for my dogs because it looked like summer was here. Now I’m considering using as as skating rink for my rabbits….(j/k! )

  We like to joke that we have about two weeks out of the year where we can finally wear all the scarves we knitted all year long! It’s one of those “funny because it’s sort of true” comments…
  
  My stepmom taught me how to knit… but I have to save up all my knitting for those few weeks! Obviously, it’s more than just a few weeks, but it’s definitely not long and not that cold. We rarely go down below the thirties, and that’s rare.
  
  She’s too funny. When May arrived, she taught me a song:
  
  Hurray! Hurray!
  The 1st of May!
  Outdoor screwing begins today!

  Of course, by May I’m taking cold showers and wearing man’s deoderant so people don’t think I smell like a foot.
  
  Actually, it’s been raining the last few days, which has cooled things off a lot. I am sooooooo enjoying it!
  
  I’m super hot-natured and extremely fair-skinned, so going to the beach isn’t my cup of tea, hehe!
  
  But you might like it!

  Yeah we had our customary (lately) five days of summer before the temps started plummeting at night again and the days are filled with blustery winds and sometimes rain and cold temps for May.
  
  Meh. Why I thought living in Alaska would be a good idea, I don’t know. >.<

  Yeah they can be a nuisance sometimes. But once you get over how clumsy and just downright ugly they are, you begin to think they’re cute and adorable.
