A litter of bunnies was just born near me and I was wondering, if I buy 2 sisters, will they already be bonded? I’m planning to spay them, so will it help?

yes, but their personalities have to match, i.e. match dominant with submissive, never two dominant ones with each other. You can see it as they mature and head towards their spay time. You may have to separate them if hormones start to cause conflicts. You need to watch them lots to catch any issues.

Should I catch issues, will i have to seperste them? I dont know if I’d be able to do that.

You will be able once you see a reason. You separate so they won’t bite each others’ ears off if that’s what they gear up to doing. Some do, some don’t but be prepared.

If they fight, you have to have them in separate cages until after the spay when they can be properly re-introduced and re-bonded. Be aware, that they might not re-bond after a spay tho. So unless you’re willing to possibly have two separate bunnies forever, I would not get two at this point. Just start with one. Get her spayed, and then later on, you can see about getting a second bunny.

Bunnies are hard to tell the gender when they are young, so just make sure you take them to the vet at 3 month to be sure they are not the opposite gender. If you cage them together, you may get a surprise litter.
