On Friday at 15:30 o’clock we took our bunny 4 years and half old to vet for brushing his teeth. After wake up from anasthesia he couldn’t stand up on his legs. He was lying on his stomach and he tried to move with his legs (actually he was swimming across the floor). It looked just like to watch a turtle running. That night he ate but not as usual. We have been with him all night long to care and prevent his moving. On saturday morning he ate but more less than day before and he started to reject his favourite food. So at 09:00 o’clock we took again our bunny to vet.
On question why he could not stand on his legs and why his moving like this, she said that need more time to recover. On question why reject the food she said bacause of pain after dental care and she gave him pain medication and she said if will not eat we must bring him on sunday morning.
We have been with our little friend all saturday and we were full of hope. We try to feed him but without success, we gave him a watter with a syringe and discussed that we must try to mix some food and try to feed him with a syringe. But in the late afternoon unfortunately our little sweety friend died.
I understand that he could not be able to eat. But I do not understand why he could not put on his legs and he is moved in such way as I wrote above. Is here some one that can explain this? Because I think that the vet have done something wrong.
Once time our friend It has already been under anesthesia and his recovery was normal.
Please sorry about my English.
