Without knowing Thumper’s breed beyond she is part silver fox. Is this a typical amount of fur from a grooming session?

Am I grooming her too much? I feel like she has already gone through a molt this winter.

I swear, my Bombur sheds 3x the amount of fur he actual has each moult. The amount in your picture seems very normal

            Looks normal to me

This is only from a tiny portion of her back  I pulled out twice this much in the one grooming session.

As said, this looks normal, my male silver fox is shedding and I get similar amounts of loose fur out. He’s a hairball. Thumper is beautiful by the way, I just love the silver fox looks.

I agree with the rest. I have no idea how they do it, but Mikey is correct. Buns do shed at least 3 times as much hair as they actually have.

Thor, that could be a picture of Bam =)
