Is my rabbit mad at me?

Okay, so I just got home after being gone for 4 days. I have never even left them for a full 24 hours so this was quit different. My mom came and fed them twice a day and said they were doing fine. When I got home, they were both up and eating. Mr. Big even did a binky! About 15 minutes later he went into his bed which is unusual for the time of day. I got him out to trim his nails (probably bad timing but they were long!). After, he ran back into his house but did come out at pellet time. He ate less than usual and went back into his bed. He was eating hay I would give him but now won’t touch anything or come out. Should I worry or is he just mad?

Rabbits get used to a routine, and sometimes you will notice behavioral changes when things are “off” for them. It may be that he was confused why everything had changed for a little while and he’s trying to adjust still. That’s just my best guess. If something is off with Ophelia’s routine, she gets a little huffy puffy, and may start getting into destructive stuff that she doesn’t normally do. They’re so funny  I understand the need to clip the nails, but he might be upset that you were gone for days and when you came home what did you do? Nail trim?! “How unfair” Mr. Big thought…
