  Hi.
  
  My male bunny is 7 months old and I am thinking about getting fixed. So I heard that unfixed male bunnies mark their territory and my hump people. However Panda has not shown any of those symtoms. I have heard of some male rabbits are neutered early at 10 or 12 weeks. Panda came from a petstore so I know little of his backround. Can anyone help me?

  It’s very unlikely that a bun from a pet shop would be neutered. Not all buns show those behaviours and they all mature at different rates too. Probably best to ask your vet to check if you are unsure but I would say its highly unlikely that he is already neutered

  Thanks Kristy we had a vet trip a while ago and hes all good. Im saving up for his neuter right now.

  Not all males show signs like that My Peanut never humped a thing and never sprayed or anything.

  My Bam never humped anything or spray urine and I had him for a year before I got him neutered. The reason I had him neutered was that he developed a crush on my dog. No humping or spraying, just pursuing and circling and nipping.
  
  If your bun is going to be an only pet, you don’t absolutely have to have him neutered. Neutering has no significant health benefits for a male bun.

  I doubt he is neutered if he’s coming from a pet store- it’s not routinely done there, they don’t want to spend more money on the animal than they will make off of it
  
  Good thing you rescued him! My male bun never sprayed anything and I have never seen him hump anything. He was neutered just two days ago actually, at 4 months. So he didn’t have his precious jewels in very long, but I did have him in a set up where he could see and smell my female, and gave him her stuffed animal and he still never humped or anything.
