  So Tei has been scared to leave her tray and seems to be wary of everyone besides me but what does it mean if she’s keeps sniffing me is it just her identifying me or is it something else also it’s only her sixth day and she seems to be okay with me petting her on a scale of one to ten how good is that or is it bad somehow?

  I think its still early days, give her more time, it can take weeks months or years for a bunny to settle, my Olly is a rescue and been through a lot and only just settling down.

  Yeah I know plus I don’t know what life was properly like for her at the Pet store so god’s knows what stuff happened plus when’s the girl was taking her out she tried to run for her life but is her leting me pet her already a good thing?

  It is very positive that she sniffs you and let you pet her. Especially the sniffing, because that means she’s interested in you. Some buns will sit still and let themselves be pet by people they don’t know just because they’re too scared to protest -but sniffing means curiosity and that’s the first real step towards friendship. A bun can’t really be scared stiff and be interested at the same time.

  She sniffs my hand when I put it in front of her or while I’m busy cleaning her poo up but then just sort of acts like nothin happened then which I do find cute
