        Hello!
So I was just playing with my 1 yr old male bun and he was just sitting on his favourite carpet, his go-to spot. I tried playing with him, patting the ground in all different directions and I found whenever I snap my fingers just over his head he will either jump up, or to one direction and then jump to other. Keep in mind he does this every single time. I can’t tell if he’s scared or just binkying because after that he lets me pet him so??
        What do you think?

Well he’s probably reacting to the loud noise, snapping is a sudden sharp noise so it could be startling him.

It could be play. My Bombur enjoys if you “thump” (flick the floor). He will start binkying and bunny 500ing around the room. He may also run up to you, thump, then start his play time all over again. Its almost like playing tag, but with sound. The reason we know this is play, is not only because of how happy he looks and acts, but because if either of the other bunnies thump in fear or Bombur is scared in general, he will retreat to his hidey spot

I agree with Mikey that it’s likely to be play. Some rabbits like mine sometimes enjoy play like rough housing (on their terms) and will get the binkies/zoomies when you do it. If he’s scared, he will go to his safe spot or thump instead of coming back for more.

It sounds like it could be play. Amelia has watched us play the push game with our 4lb dog, we gently push him and he slides on the hard word floors and bounces back at us while mouthing hands, and has decided this is a fun game. So we push her chest and sides and she bounces back at us then has to zoom around us and binki, then comes running back for more. They are goofy animals ?
