I don’t think your doing anything wrong…Some just don’t binky…Zooming as he is doing means he’s happy too. He’s a lionhead? My lionhead just does little binkies

yes he is a lionhead, he does a kinda twisty thing which would look like a binky only he does it when he is trying to get up on the sofa

It sounds like your bun is a happy little guy. My Mini-Rex didn’t binky for quite a while after I got him. He just started doing it one day. Now he goes nuts and especially enjoys the triple-binky!

My girlfriend had a bun that didn’t binky in 2 years but was VERY happy. A lack of binkies does not mean displeasure. Such things as licks and tooth purrs also show happiness as does the bunny flop, the LONG stretched out bun and the sometimes missed head only binky.

It’s one of those “If yer bun was unhappy, you’d know it,” things.

I think every bunny is different – some binky all the time and others just don’t as often. I am sure your bunny is happy, though – especially if he’s running the bunny 500!

i thinkevery bun is different too.  baby bun didn’t binky at all until she was 7 (that i saw anyways)!!!  she binkied after she recovered from her spay and began wandering into the living room and i was thrilled.  that lasted a few weeks & now she’s back to being binky-stingy.  but i always get tooth purrs from her when she’s getting lavished with head pets and i see some head binkies when i come into her room with salad.  i know she’s happy

I love the repeat floppers. It’s like they have OCD. “Nope, that one didn’t feel right…” *thud* “Legs didn’t go out far enough with that one…” *thud* “Aw, my ears got into my face…” *thud*

I feel bad, because when I hear the flop thud, I always look over to the x-pen to make sure Warren’s ok. And I will unvariably make some sort of noise that wakes him up from his flop, and I get the stink eye.  It always amuses me that 3 pounds of bunny can make such a big sound!

it is so cute! hopscotch always does that its like a quest for the ultimate flop i nearly peed myself with laughter when he rolled over though he did a proper roll over just like my dogs do and i wondered if he was copying them! it was uber cute, hopscotch cant control one of his ears lately its like flopped down and he keeps having to shake his head to get it to stand up again haha!
