It all started when my dad left the container of fish food open in the garage which attracted a few roaches. Since my dad fixed that problem, it’s like the roaches have migrated to my rabbit’s area in our enclosed carport (which is around 10-15 metres away from the fish tank). And yes my rabbit is an outside bunny (i’d love to house him inside of course but the parents won’t let me, so bringing him inside is not an option unfortunately
). I hate how the roaches are near my rabbit and one tried to come into the hutch. I saw a lot of roach poo right next to it and 2 baby roaches on the mosquito net that was over the hutch. I’ve totally cleaned the carport floor, put on a new mosquito net, washed the hutch with vinegar and same as the litter boxes. But I still see some coming from outside into the carport. I need a natural way to get rid of these nasty bugs… I was thinking of sprinkling some catnip around the rabbit’s living area, at least during the night when the rabbit is in the hutch. Not sure if this will work though. Anyone got any ideas or know if catnip is safe?
