Drue has been eating like normal but he didn’t poop at all today between 9am and about 5pm.  We went on a walk and just got home now and there is a few poops in his litter box.  But, I mean like 2 or 3.   Is this something to be concerned about?  I’m used to Tucker who poops almost constantly so I am not sure if this can be normal or if this is a warning sign of something like a possible stasis.

He’s been eating like normal so I guess that is a good sign.   Do some buns just hold it in all day and go a lot later??  I normally don’t pay attention to it as much because I don’t change the litter box everyday, I just clean up the cage floor and put new hay in the litter box.  I check to see if there’s more poop then the day before and that tehre’s some “fresh looking” poop there but it’s not something where I usually look throughout the day or anything.

Ooh he’s in the litter box now munching on some hay…maybe there’s some poop coming soon!

He pooped a nice big pile! LOL, I never thought I’d be so happy to see poop!  He was really starting to worry me!

Yeah, sometimes buns like to do that for some reason. Maryann didn’t poop until AFTER I spent the $150 on medicines and vet visit.

That’s what I was worried about with Drue.  I told Mike that if he didn’t poop by morning we had to go to the vet.  Luckily he was just holding it in for the heck of it I guess!

Oh the poop panic.  Glad he is done tho.  HE may have had gas?  You could try rubbing his tum tum next time he holds it in like that. It might help. Then again with buns you just never know. The rascal. Scaring his bunny slave like that. shame shame

mine don’t always go a lot during the day. sometimes not at all. if it starts proceeding into the evening when they are usually more active, that’s when i really start to worry. also if they are turning down food during that time.
