Hi everyone, my name’s Hannah and I’m a first time bunny owner as of 3 weeks ago! I read this forum alot over the past few months with lots of other reading and decided to finally introduce myself and my bunnies! Firstly I’d like to thank everyone as a little advice goes along way!
Okay so my buns names are Buttons and Suri! Buttons is the frosted point and Suri is the black self and they are both does! They’re only babies at the moment (11 weeks) but are growing very very quickly and become very confident!
Suri’s very laid back and often nudges me for attention/treats. Her faviourite toys are the homemade toilet roll tubes made into a ball with fresh grass and pellets inside and shes starting to come over and sit on my lap whenever she wants a bit of fuss
Buttons is a bit more lively and when shes not telling me so by grunting and binkying everywhere, shes off distroying the scratching post and chasing our cat away from the pen! Shes also very affectionate and I love watching her ears swing forwards whenever she sees something new!
I first wanted rabbits a few years ago when I worked as a volenteer looking after wild animals that had been brought in sick or injured! My cousin then had a house rabbit and I was suprised how intelligent and affectionate she was!
Now I spend every waking hour I’m not at work playing with/fussing over/cleaning up after/bunnyproofing and I love it!
