Hello there, my name is Kendra and I have just, within the last month, been lucky enough to make a new bunny friend. His name is Humphrey and he is a black lop, not too sure if he is french or mini. I got him from a little girl that was unable to keep him because of a tennancy agreement, I was going to go to the SPCA, but I saw this guy online and HAD to get him I was on another forum, that I will not mention, and noticed the topics of raising rabbits for meat and breeding. I also noticed they had a section on housing lab bunnies. Yeah, not my thing (I am pretty anti using animals for our benefit, but that is something that doesn’t need discussing ), so I came searching for a new, happier, place. So here we are

        This is Humphrey

This is when I first got him. I have since removed the aspen bedding and put in a towel, bed and litter box (still working on litter training hehe). I do plan on getting him neutered, I am not sure at what age they are able to have it done. He is just over 2 months (birthday is Feb. 2nd).

Anyways, nice to meet everyone and see everyone’s bunny friends

                          Welcome! Humphrey is adorable!

FYI – bunnies usually are of spay/neuter age at around 4-6 months when their hormones kick in… trust me, you’ll know when!
