I’m sure this has been addressed somewhere on the forum at some point but I have a few questions regarding vegetables and fruit. I have done some research and from everything I have read it has been adviced to not give your young bun any vegetables until they are older due to digestive issues that could arise.
So my first question is: when should you introduce veggies? When they sre a year old? Six months? Right now Annabel is three, almost four, months old and is only eating pellets and timothy hay.
My second question is: which veggies do you avoid? As far as I know its iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, corn, potato, beans, tomatoes, eggplants. Are there other veggies to look out for?
And my last question: how often do you give your bun fruit? Once a week? Every other day?
With observing my frenchie here, I’ve noticed quickly that she is a food hound so I want to make sure I lay out a good diet for her in the future to avoid obesity. Frankly, if it was left up to her, she would go for the world record. Lol
