Hello
I just wanted to introduce me and my bunnies
This is Monty. He is a nearly 4 years old (born in september 2010) mixed-breed and I got him from a shelter in february 2010. He is a neutered male and is a very nice rabbit, but tends to be a little bit aggressive when he is feared. He loves running around and playing with his friend Kovu.
This is Kovu. He is a mixed-breed and he is a male, but he is not neutered. He is 2 years old (born in the 27th of march 2012). He is a very nice and social rabbit, very lovely. He loves chilling out and eating but he loves to jump too, he’s my best rabbit in rabbit hopping (he jumps very slow, but precise).
Monty and Kovu are living together. At night they are in their hutch, but they can run in their pen the whole day long.
On the other hutch (and the other pen) are my other 3 rabbits, which are living together:
This is Jumper, a neutered buck. He gets 6 years old in december (he is born in december 2008) and I have him sine may 2012. I got him from a breeder, he is a purebreed rabbit. I think his breed is similar to the English Spot, in Germany they are called “Englischer Schecke”. Jumper is very calm, but loves to go for a little walk with me.
(sorry I had no other pic right now, that’s her at a competition)
So, this is Princess. She is a female, but she is not spayed. She is 2 years old, born on the 09th may 2012. I got her from a breeder in january 2013, she is a purebreed “Zwergfuchs” which are similar to the Jersey Wooly, I think. Princess is very active and sometimes acting like a diva
And the last one is Kiara. She is a female and she isn’t spayed too. She is a mixed-breed and only 1 year old (she’s born in august 2013). I got her from the pet store in october 2013. She was just so cute that I couldn’t resist to buy her… Luckily we have enough space, money and time so my mum let me buy her ) She is very cute and when she gets feared she jumps into my arms ♥
Now to myself:
I’m from germany.
I have rabbits since 2002 (my mum did take care of the rabbits then, because I was to young to do that, but I liked watching them and stroking them). My mum was the one who choose rabbits first xD But we had guinea pigs and budgies too.
As the guinea pigs and the rabbits died my mum said she doesn’t want both, so I had to decide.
I think that you can make more with a rabbit then with a guinea pig (like rabbit hopping).
In january 2011 I started doing rabbit hopping and in october 2011 I had my first competition. I was at one rabbit hopping club for 2 years (january 2012 – january 2014), but it was to long to drive to every training lessons. This year I helped making a new rabbit hopping club and it goes very well, our training lessons are twice a month for 2 hours each.
Other hobbies beside rabbits are horse riding (I do this once a week at our local riding club) and reading (I love fantasy books).
So, I think that’s it… if you have any questions, feel free to ask xD
best wishes,
Fly
