Interesting development with Lolli

My back has been hurting a bit worse the past few days.  I even woke up one night cause it was hurting so bad.  Not excruiating or anything like that.  Just enough pain to wake you up and then make it so you can’t get comfortable to fall back asleep.  I was jokingly thinking that Lolli must be hopping all over me at night as I’m still sleeping on the floor.  It doesn’t help my back but it’s better than the couch and Lolli is different with me.  She actually comes up for nosepets but only when I’m laying down. lol 

So last night I’m trying to fall asleep and guess who hops up on my legs?  She hops up and then digs at my blankets and then hops over on the otherside of me.  This is a nice development.  Lolli doesn’t climb in general.  So her finally feeling safe enough to climb on me when I’m perfectly still is great!   She still won’t groom me.  She presented herself for grooming/pets.  I presented my head for grooming and she was just like…”like I’m going to groom you.”   lol 

I think sleeping on the floor has been the best thing for our relationship.  She’s such a little sweetheart.

That’s awesome! I’m so happy that she’s being so nice to you lately. When Hugo was here he demanded attention, liked to snuggle with me, would even lay on my head (woke up with a 12 lb bunny on my head LOL), but I never once got a kiss! I guess some bunny are just like that. She loves you though! I hope you feel better. =)

She has scared the crap out of me though. A couple of times, I’ve opened my eyes cause I’ve heard her hopping around and she was RIGHT there in my face. And of course I squeal. LOL But I’m finding she only does that when she wants pets.

Eddie was my snuggler. So it’s been hard for me with him being gone. I do make Lolli snuggle with me every day or so. Once we get to the couch and I start giving nose pets and rubbing her ears, she vegs out. I force her to snuggle partly cause I wanna snuggle and partly so I can check her over, get the gunkies out of her eyes, etc.

I don’t know if it was just her wanting pets or what, but last night while I was trying to fall asleep, I started thinking about things and started crying a bit. When I rolled over, she was sitting there. (scared the crap out of me again lol) She sniffed my face and then let me pet her and give her kisses. This is when I presented my head for grooming and she refused. Wasn’t expecting anything different. lol But it was so sweet, I almost started crying again.

Oh….I think she’s rationing her pellets. LOL Simply because she has quite a bit left from her 1/4c I gave her around 12:30pm. It’s now almost midnight and she’s usually out by now. And yes, I know it’s just not being as hungry for them today. But it was just funny. She’s been thinking she’s gonna starve with her bowl empty and today it looks like she’s barely touched them.

Sweet! I like sleeping on the floor with my two on occasion also. It can get a little frustrating at dawn though!

About the pellets, that reminded me of Kralspaces Lola. She was a rex girl put on a diet and Krals gave her something like 12 pellets a day. She said Lola started to take her time over them and really savour them.

She’s also ate almost all over her hay cubes. And she’s quit begging so much. So yes, she’s a little smarty pants. She has quickly learned that I’m not giving in on the begging anymore. LOL It was funny this morning cause her bowl was empty, but I kept dozing off. Every time I woke up, she was sitting somewhere close and watching me. Like she was waiting for me to get up and get her pellets. So now I’m up and she has pellets, so she’s in her box for the day. LOL

Thats so sweet. Malachi will rub his chin on my boyfriend but not me. Makes me a bit sad. But im glad he like my boyfreind, he was the one who got malachi for me as a gift.
