        Hello all,

After joining BB Forums I’ve seen all of your bunny breeds and it got me wondering what Inkblot is.  I know she is a mixed breed and even though we were told she is a dwarf I’m not sure if she’s just a small bunny or she really is a dwarf.  She is about 3 lbs. 6 oz.  I definitely think she is part dutch.  The black pants and a little bit of white on the tips of her back feet.  However she has other black spots on her so I figure she must be part something else.  English spot maybe?  Here are some photos take in the last 4 months.  What do you guys think?

She is adorable! Inkblot that is such an original name, I love it! Sorry I am not sure of her breed maybe she has some dutch in her because of the marking on her head.

How old is she? If she’s fully grown than she is part dwarf at that weight. I don’t think there’s any English Spot in there – but the part dutch idea would make her slightly larger than a dwarf (so the 4 lbs or more makes sense) and she seems to have a band of white between predominantly dark areas.
I like her V-shaped Uppy ears.

For sure looks like mix of Dutch and dwarf. I would say that is a good guess.  Sure is a cutie.

Due to the ears I was thinking part lop that can be iffy tho.

I think Dutches are 3.5 lbs to 5 lbs let me go check.    Wikipedia has a nice pic of dutch and the 2nd pic looks like the face of your cute Inkblot.

Yes it says Dutches are 3.5 to 5.5 lbs.  Regardless she sure is cute.

Hello everyone! She is fully grown and is 6 years old . So her weight is always between 3 and 4 pounds. I got her from a pet store and they told me something weird like boston dwarf. And then you find out that there isn’t anything by that name. I always thought she was a dwarf but no idea what kind!

I love her and her name! Very creative!

A Boston dwarf – yep, she’s definately one of those… That is weird. I can’t even think of something similar sounding that you may have (or they may have) misheard or mis pronounced.
She does have Bostons (allenj1) colouring though…mmmm?

Perhaps she is all dutch, just with imperfect markings? I don’t know – she’s lovely all the same. Hope she’s doing ok (((Inkblot)))

Maybe she is all dutch dwarf. And yeah I have no idea where they got Boston Dwarf from. I just picked her because she looked like a dwarf in the store with the shorter ears. I have no idea where pet store rabbits come from :-\.

She’s not a pure Dutch dwarf. The mottling on the back isn’t dutch. My guess would be a dutch/rex cross breed.
