I should be meeting some new buns tomorrow or Saturday. I’m nervous and excited! Here’s some info on them. They have been in a fosterhome for a year now. This is what she had to say.
They are GREAT boys
We have had them so long and no one is ever interested….. They are the sweetest, gentlest, mellowest boys. We have figured out their litter habits and in the last 2 months have become near PERFECT. I love them to pieces (They have been my fosters the whole time they have been here) but wish someone could give them the good, solo rabbits, family life that foster care just can’t provide.
Honestly out of all the buns you picked, in my opinion the boys would be best. They LOVE attention, beg for snuggles, are quiet and gentle but so happy and outgoing at the same time!
Here are some pics. They are beautiful boys! They sound wonderful too. She also said they are around 6 lbs each and both under or around 2.

They are adorable! They sound like their foster home is great and really wants to find the perfect homes for them!
oh, they are so CUTE!
Yeah. The lady that has them is one of the two in charge of the place. She is the one I got Hugo from and worked with so much those 6 weeks. She said jokingly, that when and if I was ready our next adoption would be no charge. =)
They have the most beautiful color I think I’ve ever seen.
Oh those are cute and handsome boys!
They’re CUTE!!
Amy, I’m really glad you’re doing this. You’re so brave, and this foster mother is obviously an animal lover.
This could be something so happy and wonderful!
Oh they are fabulous!! I’m happy you have decided to get another bun. I know he will be very very happy and loved in your home!
Thanks. They call these boys the nuts. lol. I meet them this afternoon at 2. I can’t believe that no one has shown any interest in them for a year.
They are adorable – please let us know what you think.
Good luck!
Hope you fall in love!
Thanks, me too! It was instant with Hugo. So, I think I’ll know.
oh you are adopting a bonded pair! that’s great!
They’re beautiful – crossing my fingers for you!
Thank you everyone. Petzy, they are brothers and extremely close.
Well, here they are. Introducing my boys! They are all settled in their spot chowing down on their hay. =) They are so sweet and calm.
Hickory and Acorn. Acorn is the lighter of the two.

Congrats! They are so cute and I love their coloring!
OMG They are soooo cute! I love their colour too, very unique! That’s crazy that no one else wanted to snatch them up! Congrats on your two handsome boys!
Oh, they are adorable :~) Such lucky boys, I guess they were waiting so long for you and your family. Cute names too!
I LOVE THEIR EARS!
Such cute names! Such cute bunnies!
Thank you! I’m thrilled to have them in the house. It doesn’t seem so empty now. They haven’t come out of the litter box yet though.
I thought their names were adorable too. They said they got them last fall so they gave them fall names. I finally put 2 and 2 together and realized why they called them “the nuts” lol. They are both barely 5 lbs. They seems so small to me after having Hugo. Hopefully I can turn them into wonderful house bunnies.
Thanks again for all the support through this trying time in my life. I’ve really appreciated everything!
Love their coloring! What sweet bunnies! they look so serene and mellow. I’m glad you found each other!
CUTE!!! I can’t believe they took so long to get adopted!!
I’m so happy for you! They sound just perfect for your home, and I agree with Sarita totally that they just were waiting for you.
Gorgeous boys. They’re not that old yet, but to know they are sweet and well trained – what a nice new family.
Hugo is watching them and smiling down on you. ![]()
Congratulations! They are so adorable!
I am so excited for you! I LOVE the EARS!
Omg they are so adorable! I was wondering since you said they’ve stayed in their box so far, what kind of flooring is the litter box on? They might just still be adjusting to a new place but they might also think the floor is slippery if it’s linoleum. A lot of bunnies won’t walk on it – my bunny treats it like it’s scalding hot lava lol
Congratulations Amy! They are Sweet! Are they full grown now? They sort of have a young “innocent” look about them…I wonder if they will prove to be innocent or double-trouble?!
Gorgeous! Wishing you many happy years ahead with them. ![]()
Congrats!! I am so so so happy for you! They are so lovely, ah I am so glad you decided to adopt again! They are such a handsome pair! I am looking forward to many photos and lots of new adventures!!!!!!! *hugs*
Thanks everyone.
Otti, I use wood pellet bedding in the litter box. We do have vinyl flooring. It is a type that isn’t as slippery. I emailed the shelter to ask a few questions and she said the were on vinyl for the last year. She also said they are the kind of buns that like to spend a lot of time in their litter box.
Jersey, They are full grown. They are around 2. They say they are a blast, so I think I”m going to find out they aren’t as innocent as they look!
Congrats! They are beautiful!![]()
Amy: You live in WI! I do to! I only live a short ways away from you.
Wow! What a small world it is.
yeah.
You brought them home with you! They are so lovely – I’m really pleased for you!
Oh my god.. so cute and precious babies!
