I totally abandoned the forum for a bit there, didn’t I? I’m sorry, guys!  =(

Well, the buns have been a bit of a pain lately.  I have been trying to figure out what is going on.  I have to admit I have been pretty wrapped up in my life and haven’t had much time to pay attention to them except for at night.  This month I plan on spoiling them, though.  They really deserve the world.  Valentine is destructo-bunny though.  She destroys the rugs that I put down on the floor.  I am scared she may have ingested some carpet.  The other night she was like gagging or coughing I am not sure what it was but she was making a really weird noise and it freaked me out.  I was about ready to hop in the car and drive to the e-vet.  She’s fine now though.  I’ve been keeping an eye on her. I bought them a $20 bed and they peed and pooped soooo much on it!  I had to remove it.  I think I am going to put it in their condo instead.  They also go in the hay box and pee and poo in there too.  It’s horrible. I still have to clean the hay box, I’m just not sure how.  They were pooping a tremendous amount on the rug and in their bed but when I removed the bed and the hay box it stopped.  Now it’s only in the litter box.  Why would they be doing that?  Why would they have actually PEED in their bed?

Is it because I haven’t been paying as much attention to them?

Here are some recent pictures of them:

This is Valentine in the arms of my friend.  She fell in LOVE with my friend!  She was giving groomies to my friend it was very cute.  Val doesn’t even do that to me! haha.

I would be so jealous if my buns gave groomies to another person. I don’t get groomies! lol

I hear ya and on the poo war. I’m like, “guys, you like each other now… no need to defend territory with poop” but they don’t listen . I’ve been told it gets better with time.

I would avoid beds though- some buns just feel the need to mark them no matter how old or how much attention they get.

          Welcome back!

What a sweet couple! I used to have a rabbit named Giselle who would have destroyed my home in 3 seconds flat – loved her to death but hated her maniac behavior – she just had to have a project! Why don’t you try a diggy box for Angel and see if she likes that – she may just be one of those rabbits that needs a purpose in life.

Yes, the poop wars should hopefully go away.

              Thanks so much!
I’m definitely going to try a dig box for Valentine.

Maybe I’ll just give the bed to the cats. =P
