I’m addicted to rabbits!

Help! I keep finding myself on petfinder and craigslist looking a bunnies. I also watch endless youtube videos of peoples rabbits. Someone tell me no!! Someone stop me!! I do not need another pet…I do not need another pet.

 

I need a chant to say to myself like I saw someone else had.

lolz…Sorry my friend, you’re asking the inmates of the asylum to hand out the medication.
But I know what you mean. Our state fair is coming up. They often have tons off bunnies who are either going to find new homes or wind up in less than excellent circumstances. It just kills me that I can’t save them all.

Lol! So true. I’d love to find a lion head or a mini lop someday. I am totally going to have rabbits now for the rest of my life they are awesome. I feel slightly bad that I haven’t been giving my guineas as much laptime as I have bun. I just can’t stand it she is so cute, and I have been reading/watching all about bonding and that they are happier with friends but sigh I just don’t have the room. I still really want to take down this fish tank in my room I am SO TIRED OF IT. It’s a 50 gallon eclipse system and because Oscars are large dirty fish, the filter has overflowed and seriously it’s dumped 20 gallons of water onto my carpet…3 times now. So if I take down the tank….more room for Bun! I was raised in a family where we don’t give away pets, not even fish. So, Oscar the Grouch stays…and they live as long as rabbits lol. I just sit here now and look at the fish tank and day dream of all the room Bun could have with it gone.

 

 

Oscar the Grouch doing what he does best…being a total jerk. My pleco is Pooper…RIP, He had some sort of rot and the meds didn’t work I can’t believe I cried when I found him belly up. When I see baby plecos now I let out a squeel becuase I think they are so cute when my Pooper was 16” long; and the babies are 1”. So cute!!

To stop myself from getting more guinea pigs I just thought about all the poop that would add to the cage and it stopped me dead in my tracks.

Believe me, I went down the same path. You most likely will get another bunny sooner or later, if you see a cute and friendly one I can almost guarante you will get it . At least that’s what I did. But I had been thinking about it for a while so . . .
Haha, don’t even try to fight the addiction, sooner or later it will grab hold of you and win! *evil laugh*

I just gave Kay & Winston a brushing with the zoom Groom!

I pick them up  – set them on my lap – brush & pet – then a little bunny massage.

Winston always rewards me by climbing up to my shoulder, snuggling & purring – how do you not get addicted to that!

I can relate to this!!! I have three now and consider getting more pretty much daily. It is hard. Especially considering all the buns who need homes.

You know, if you already have an Xpen setup, 2 buns can easily live there…and it’s no more work! (Once they’re bonded, of course…)

Get Bun spayed, that’s the first step! (Bonding 2 girls is supposed to be really hard, though…maybe that lionhead is meant for someone else…)

Oh yea, I was just looking …lol. It’s not a good time now to even think about another rabbit, and plus Bun and I are still getting acquainted. I got her just this month! I’m just addicted and I want her to be as happy as possible but the time isn’t right just yet.

Lantini rabbits are addictive and this is contagious as well.  It spreads quickly.

I so want an ND too.  I tell myself I have no room the added expense added vet and ins., etc etc etc  plus  no room no room no room no room

The extra work extra litterboxes grooming etc etc etc .

One day after my 2 go then an ND or another lionhead.   Who knows though a lot can change  by then and different breeds may be coming up too.  

Then buns are just sooo cute.

Again I have no room no room no room   $$$$   .    This helps me keep myself in check

Oh, so Bun is NEW NEW NEW! Well, in that case, enjoy getting to know each other for at least a few months! I love that my bunnies have friends, but I was really sad for a while after bonding Robbie and Lizzy because neither of them needed as much attention from me because they had each other. Now that they’re past the honeymoon period, they both love me again, but it’s definitely good to establish your OWN bond with your buns before you bond them to each other!
