  So I’m home usually 90% of the day. I need to leave my bun by home tomorrow for 8ish hours tomorrow. He’ll probably get his dinner greens late. That’s ok right? I don’t want to stress him too much. I’ll probably be gone from 10/11 am to 7/8 pm. He gets a small salad around 9 am and 6:30 pm every day. I’m worrying for no reason, right?

  We all have the same worries when leaving our buns. :] I think he’ll be just fine as long as you leave plenty of extra hay and water. Maybe a few toys in case he gets bored. Best of luck!

  I had to laugh, because whenever I go out late I worry about the same thing. He will be fine just he will probably be very excited for his greens when you get home.

  I feel ridiculous, but he’s my little boy! I don’t want him m to feel lonely or scared without me here, but I suppose I’ll need to go on vacation at some point and he’d have to live with a sitter coming twice a day.

  It might be a big deal to him, but more annoyed than stressed I would say. He’ll probably be demanding his veggies the second you get home.

  This makes me laugh, I understand the stress because I’ve done it too… but yes, 8 hours is perfectly fine. Many people are at work that long or longer, or in bed overnight for longer than that. It’s good to be concerned, but not something to worry over.
