Hyper Bunny!

So my 5 month old mini lop Pascal was neutered 11 days ago.
The procedure went very well and he had a super recovery. He was bouncing around like nothing had happened just a few hours later and looked mightily confused as to why I was constantly supplying him with warm towels (‘I don’t need these Munny, I’m not ill!)

His incision has been completely trouble free too.
What’s more…he had PERFECT behaviour! Instant litter perfection, zero spraying, no humping at all. He’s just the same gorgeous bunny!
I’m so thrilled with how smoothly it has gone…BUT…he’s SO hyper right now! Don’t get me wrong, hyper is good and I’d much rather this than a poorly mopey bun! I can barely keep up though! He’s constantly discovering new nooks and crannies to explore!
The only reason this concerns me is because I’m moving house this week and I’m concerned that this move and his hyper-activity wont mix!
I love with my parents at the moment and will keep the bunnies here until the new year as I will be spending Christmas here, so I do have a couple of weeks to get the house ready before the buns join which gives me a bit of time to bunny proof!
I had planned on slowly introducing them to the house-one room at a time so it’s not overwhelming. I think this is the best thing to do but am concerned that this will be reducing Pascal’s play space for a little while.
Any tips on how to make this move as smooth as possible will be appreciated, but particularly on how to satisfy a super hyper bun!

Your bunny will be FINE during the move – just keep it as stress-free as possible while moving. He’s very young still so I bet a lot of that energy has to do with age. They typically calm down a bit as more time goes on!

I would definitely do one room at a time, it will also help make sure his litter box habits are fine in a room before giving him more space to figure out (litter box wise). My buns don’t get a whole lot of out time when I’m on vacation and others have to come over to give them romp time and they have always been fine. Just make sure he has an hour or two a day to really get out and run around or binky himself to exhaustion. But I wouldn’t worry about a smaller area as long as it’s short-term.

He’s probably still in the post-neuter crazies stage! My bun was a complete and utter hyperactive nutcase for about 3 and a half weeks after his neuter. He’s still energetic but nothing like those first couple of weeks. He’ll probably settle down a fair bit before you move and then you’ll be able to follow TL’s suggestions.
