Hello everyone!
I recently had my girl taken to the vet for a checkup and some blood work. All has come back okay. She has been behaving a little bit off lately- not as social, laying down a lot and peeing outside of her litter box. (She is fixed and typically has immaculate litter habbits). The vet, not being able to find anything in the blood work or physical exam suggested, because the bottoms of her feet are a little worn (mini-rex and all..), they may be sore, discouraging her from hopping around as much or making it to her litter box. Incidently, I have lined her whole bedroom in a (lovely, and not weird at all) seafoam fleece and have been ruubing soother into her feet. She seems to be perking up a bit- hopefully this is all the issue is.
Now onto my question- I have heard folks talk about a “hunbched position” that buns do when they are in pain (Specifically GI related issues.. my gal has has a couple bouts of stasis, but I don’t think I ever saw her ‘hunch”).
When my bun is tired in the day, she will sit as pictured below for a bit before loafing it out. Is this a “hunched position”??? Or is this just a tired, sitting, position.
(also, she is molting on her face… she has molted two angry looking eyebrows..
.)
