        Hi all!

I was watching my rabbit, and he seems to be lying down with his feet to the side more often. I know that is a happy behavior, but he has also sitting in a meatloaf position but kind of stretched out. His feet are tucked in, and he looks relaxed. No change in behavior, so i dont think that he’s in pain, but i just wanted to check. i dont think he is pressing his stomach to the ground either because he’s not swaying from side to side, or looks uncomfortable. I guess my question is,

Is he relaxed or possibly in pain?

        Thanks!

Will he willingly take a treat if you hand him one?

A bunny in pain will not have a great appetite and if a bunny wont take a treat, it’s definitely an observandum.

The way you describe his body positions oesn’t ring any alarm bells with me. Buns sometimes lie on their side, sometimes they loaf. They can be very flat when they load, but they dont have to be. They can stretch out their front paws a bit, resembling the yoga position the rabbit. It’s all normal.

Oh he for sure takes a treat, the little food monger! LOL, he did look like he was in a flatter loaf position. Thank you so much Bam!

bunnies like to chill all sorts of ways. Lord knows I have seen Indie do some weird stuff, especially the yoga thing like child’s pose. As long as they keep eating and pooping I chalk it up to normal bunny weirdness
