HUGE clump of poops

A little background information: Samson is a 5 month old Flemish who recently went off meds for a parasite. He has been eating and drinking normally. Some days he may have a few soft poops or a little irregular, but for the most part they are normal.

Today I went to check on him (he has free roam of a nice size bedroom, and I found (see picture) a large clump of poops with lots of soft poops around it. I understand there are some poops they eat, but usually they look different than this. Obviously the soft poops aren’t normal. I am feeding him unlimited young rabbit oxbow food, unlimited hay and about 4 cups of veggies a day. He’s about 5lb. He gets Kale, Cilantro, Parsley, Spinach, Dandelion greens, Mustard greens, etc. I try to switch it up. He used to love Kale but now he picks through it and goes for the cilantro. I give him about 3 baby carrots a day, and every other day I give him a tiny teaspoon size helping of banana or mango.

Judging by how the poops look like should this be something I should be concerned about?  Oh and they small horrible! He’s doing everything as normal. thanks!

I think these are just cecals, they are clumped weirdly, at least my bun poops them out a little differently, one after the other instead of a clump but I wouldn’t be too worried. I think you are fine and yes they smell stinky XD Whenever Muffin is a greedy guts and gulps all his pellets at once he gets these!

Those are cecals perfectly normal.

the picture makes it look WAY smaller than it was. It was hmm….probably the size of a extra large grape. Lets just say when I saw it I thought, wow, that must have been painful!!

It could be hormonal too… My foster Starsky did huge stinky poos before he was neutered… Every thing is back to normal now…

Normal, but if he’s only 5 lbs you might be feeding too many veggies and carrots which can lead to over production of this kind of poop. 5lbs seems a little small for a 5 month old Flemish Giant… Could he be a mix?

I’m not sure to be honest about whether he could be a mix. I saw his parents and to me they looked quite large. I think I underestimated his weight. My boyfriend said he is more like 6 or 7 pounds. He is really thin because of the parasites he had, but his body weight seems to be normalizing. Here are some pics and you can tell me what you think

Kale, collards, dandys, and the other really dark greens need to be limited.
they’re way too rich and will literally make the bunny fart.
