Hey everyone!
So it’s been almost a month since I adopted little Theodore, and so far I’ve been keeping to this feeding routine, but I’m curious if anyone has any feedback or input for me, and if there’s anything I might consider doing differently.
If you want to share your feeding routine either way, I’d love to know about it!
Theodore is 1-2 years old (the rescue wasn’t entirely sure).
Every morning, Theodore gets about 1 and 1/2 cup fresh greens. These greens are a medley of red and green oak lettuce, red and green romaine lettuce, lolla rosa, tango lettuce, and red and green leaf lettuce. (All of these lettuces are dark in color, and rich in vitamins, and I’ve checked to make sure that they are healthy for bunnies in daily amounts.) I top off the lettuce medley with some fresh cilantro.
Then, at all times, he has perpetual access to fresh Timothy hay and of course fresh water.
In the evening, I give him an 1/8th cup of Timothy hay pellets (Oxbow adult).
I’m wondering if this is too much / too little of pellets or of veggies. Let me know what you think?
Thanks!
