I’ve noticed that our sweet little lionhead, Basil, has been crashing into things lately, and I think it would benefit him to have some of that excess fur around his face trimmed off. I’ve already trimmed his little mohawk [which was flopping over and sometimes poking him in the eyes] and that greatly improved his line of sight. I think if I could just do the same to his cheeks, then he’d be golden
as of right now, I’m just lightly wetting that fur with water and brushing it into submission. He doesn’t run into anything while his fur is like that. I don’t want to keep regularly wetting his face though…. pretty sure that could turn into some sort of health hazard :/
So any advice on how to effectively trim without snipping off his whiskers? I heard those were important, so I’d like to keep them intact as much as possible.
Thanks for taking the time to read! Looking forward to getting ya’lls feedback.
