Hi so I had posted about my bun Honeys lice problem and took her to the vet and got meds. I had put the meds on her thursday and decided to check up on it yesterday during play time. I noticed that all of the lice are dead but are still on her fur. I have plucked many to test this but it is way too difficult to try to pluck them off her since they are soooo small. What is the best way to get them off her without stressing her out. She likes it when I groom her by plucking but I dont thing a bush can do it. I tried to use my eye lash comb to see if tht would get them but even tht didnt work because they are so small and are on the fur strands not the skin like mites or fleas. One think I will not do is give her a bath or anything tht involves putting her in water. I know tht you are not supposed to get rabbits wet or give them baths and while im not sure on the exact reasons i have plenty of my own. We are new to each other so she doesnt like to be picked up or messed with tht much without squirming like a worm. She also has sharp claws and is just a baby so I dont want to incure her wrath or have her mistrust me because of such a tramatic experience tht I know a bath will be. I have a soft rubber kitten brush and a soft bristle brush (like the kind on a dust pan combo broom ) I will never use one of those wire cat brushes on any living creature let alone my baby bunny. I would like to get the hair buster from BB for the future but am a little short on cash right now and I dont think that it will work for this since even the eyelash comb didnt work. Im not sure if I should just let her get them or if she will shedd or molt them off whenever tht happens . Idk if she will be shedding soon or not since no hair comes off her even when I brush so ya im not too sure what to do so any help would be appreciated.
