My rabbit’s cage is on the wall in my room. I’ve been seeing baby spiders in all corners of my room all of a sudden. I know thumper doesn’t mind them, but I’ve seen him attempt to eat a huge one a month or two ago and I’ve got a bad fear of spiders. Usually, I’d spray the entire room and leave for a day but I don’t think chemicals and rabbits mix very well. Is there any way to kill the spiders without hurting my rabbit (and without coming close to he spiders??)

You could try trapping them under a cup, sliding a peice of paper underneath it and letting them outside where it can continue to live.

Or keep the cup on them and let them die…. up to you. Generally, just squishing them, vacuuming them up, or catching and letting them go will suffice if it’s just an incidence of a few.

If it seems like there’s a swarm, then more major measures need to be taken, which may involve relocating your rabbit for a bit while it’s taken care of.

If it’s hot in your region right now, most likely a few bugs are coming in because of the hot weather.

I’ve just thought, I’ve read on another thread, rubbing lemon juice on skirting boards and walls is suppose to keep them away from the house and doesn’t harm rabbits, could possibly be a preventative measure in future

Fire. Burn the house down and move. Or take off and nuke the site from orbit. Only way to be sure.

Right now, bladesmith’s solution seems like the best to me lol.
Thanks for the help you guys! I’ll see if I can get my brother to squish them and find some lemon juice.
