How prominent were/are your rabbits’ testicles?

When we adopted Mr Roger we werent sure if he had been neutered yet, so we took him to the vet and it was immediately clear that he hadn’t been. They were much larger than I would have expected them to be (never having sexed rabbits).

Fred and George are allegedly 18 weeks and ready to be neutered (according to the pet shop) but their bits are tiny. I find it hard to believe that they’re ready but I also know very little about this sort of thing. We’ll find out for certain when we take them for vaccinations next week, but in the meantime – how prominent are/were your rabbits testicles when they were ready to be neutered?

I didn’t see my rabbit’s testicles before the vet showed me them, since he’d been sucking them in. But they were pretty…sizable, as I recall. I was a little taken aback considering he’s a Holland Lop and such a little guy! I’m sure all rabbits are different, though.

I have an unneutered male. The size varies considerably depending on his mood. At home when he’s ralaxed and it warm, they are large and prominent. At the vet he sucks them so far up into himself they completely disappear and all you see is fur.
